Carolina Performing Arts

Brenda joins Carolina Performing Arts in a celebration honoring African-American female choreographers and North Carolina’s own Hope Boykin. PHILADANCO will perform a new piece by Boykin, JWJ Zollar’s By Way of the Funk, and two pieces by Christopher Huggins. Brenda will participate in a panel discussion Thursday, September 22, 7 pm, and will moderate a pre-performance discussion on Friday, September 23.
