Brenda is on Day 6 of her California book tour. Today she visits UC Riverside, tomorrow Scripps College, Wednesday Eso Won Books, Thursday UC Irvine (and an interview for Tell Me More!), and Friday she returns to Philadelphia…Here is a photo of her in front of the Cal State Dance Department’s Labanotation wall on the Cal State University Long Beach campus. Great faculty, inspiring students, and a lovely visit.

PNC Bank’s Black History Month Celebration

Yesterday, Brenda and Joan were the guests of PNC for a special Black History Month luncheon. They spoke in front of a crowd of 100+ about the book and Joan’s amazing life. Read about it in this Tribune piece.
